Very nice Tachi. By the way... In Wood Magazine I saw an article by Jeff Loflin, a glue specialist at Franklin International (maker of Titebond wood glues), who said salt (and sugar, too, by the way) can react with wood glue and alter its composition, resulting in a weakened joint. I use an old carpenters trick...I nail in some tiny brads and cut the heads off near end of boards then place glue, sandwich the pieces and clamp. Cheers!

@@TachiOhyo56 Hi Tachi....try shooting a 1/2" or 5/8" 23 ga micropin at each end on one board. Make sure pin sticks out above surface. Snip off and leave a bit sticking out about 1/8" high. Then place glue as you like all along surface. Next sandwich other board on top. Clamp. Micropins won't damage saw blade teeth if you cut them. Small brad nails shouldn't either but micropins I know for sure are safe for saw blades if cut.
