Conventual Warfare - Episode 5 (An Adepta Sororitas RPG Show)

Absolutely stupendous work on Sheepy's part integrating so many different players from session to session!

***SPOILERS*** I have very little to say again, except for ONE part in this episode. It was cool to see Saffy getting to join in on the Ecclesiarchical excitement as well, while Peachy got to continue to guest star as Tychar. Meanwhile, Syriinx showed us a bit of her character's soft side whilst healing wounded soldiers (but Emperor forbid if they have an ounce of corruption as she'll incinerate 'em). 3llebelle's character also tried to apply a "soft touch" instead of kicking down doors in her way, and Miss Magitek's character did a fine job of keeping up with a veteran Astartes, at least by way of trying to stay on fairly equal footing as far as authority and being in the lead are concerned. Unfortunately, after Tychar took off with the Magos, the ladies discovered heretical experimentation which caused the Inquisitor to recall all reinforcement/aid to the planet, abandoning it and the Sisters to fall, along with the Cardinal they've been trying to protect. It was an epic betrayal and unquestionably my favorite moment of this week's episode. They only have three options at this point: 1) become heretics (a fate worse than death in their eyes), 2) hold their ground as long as they can (which would basically mean taking on an entire planet's population with no reinforcements, which isn't feasible unless they're just content to all die and let a Radical Inquisitor go free), or 3) find some way off the planet. I'm hoping they go for Option 3...and choose to deliver the Emperor's justice unto that scumbag Inquisitor. Seriously, what a prick! If his experiments were so vile that he can't let anyone in the Imperium live after learning about them, then the dude shouldn't have done the experiments in the first place. Sure, watching warriors do their thing is all well and good, but their initial *cause* didn't hit me in a way that got me super invested. However, now that our protagonists have been done dirty? My investment in their struggle skyrocketed in the final moments of the episode, as I'd rather the Sisters not get killed from a betrayal while their betrayer scampers off into the void to continue his shenanigans elsewhere. Heck, there's nothing stopping him from doing something like this all over again...and again, and again. I suppose what I'm trying to say is that the ending of the episode was fantastic. =D

2:43:11 leave it to the Ordo Hereticus to screw over loyal imperial forces for there own agendas or egos. Only Hail Mary play I can see for reinforcements is if black Templar come in to help. Anyways good episode and can’t wait to see how the sisters handle the ever growing situation.
