that was pretty good narration. was good to see Pre-Crisis Heroes again. it's a shame people skip over Pre-Crisis for Pre-Flashpoint. they were first before others. Great narration.

I am new to the whole comic world and I thought the new 52 was suppose to make things far less confusing for new readers so they can jump right in. Why would they bring back all of the things that turned away new readers? I dont want to learn 70+ years of stories

Kouhiko9674 you dont have to most of the comics that were restarted in the new 52 are only around 40-50 comics in before new 52 it was like 300 so now you can read it and catch up quickly

+ComicIsland I actually kind of like the multiple voices but I think you could also use them to help tell the story. What I mean is, instead of just switching voices at issues, with large events with multiple stories or time lines, you could assign voice actors to specific POV's or timelines/universes. I believe it would prove to be helpful in keeping all the story lines straight. It's kind of like reading more of the Song of Fire and Ice novels after watching any of Game of Thrones. Giving faces to those names seemed to make it easier to keep the stories separate and straight. Just an idea.

ComicIsland personally in my opinion id think the tie-ins were far better then the actual main series because at least the tie-ins have fun with there stories and have great character development fuck the new 52 earth i want to stay with our pre 52 earth characters instead but that's just my opinion anyways good video and i hope you have a good day and take care man

The beauty, albeit confusing, of so many alternate worlds and timelines, it seems to me, that nearly everything can be canon. If there is another me on another earth, who's to say what happened in his life didn't really happen? There might be a reality where Stan Lee became a writer & designer for both Marvel and DC(imagine Stan Lee having a cameo in a Batman movie :) ). But I could be wrong. Much like time travel, the multiverse can be quite perplexing :).

I gotta ask. How did Braniac get mutated by a Crisis? That makes no sense. If my someone is going through a crisis they still wont get mutated by it. Was he mutated by something that happened as a result of the crisis? Cause that would make more sense. Something like temporal radiation cause that would make sense as to why he exists outside of space and time.

+Doc Voxx What could they do? In this story Brainiac is the hero of the story who must restore the multiverse. His failed experiment caused massive eruptions to existence and has to restore everything by sending everyone home. Including those who died in Infinte Crisis to their deaths. Only this time they succeeded. The New 52 could only watch from afar because it wasn't their fight. It was the golden age version of themselves that had to fight since they were the first heroes. The point of Convergence was to restore the golden age comics. The Alan Scott Green Lantern, the Jay Garrick Flash, and all the heroes from the golden age to return and have new stories that ended after Infinite Crisis. This way all comics are now considered canon. Golden Age, Silver Age, Pre-52, Pre-Crisis, Post-Crisis, Final Crisis, Zero Hour, Vanishing Point, Flashpoint, Kingdom Come, All-Star Superman, Red Son, Death of Damien Wayne, Batman: The Killing Joke, Batman: By Gaslight, and all elseworld stories are now considered canon and nothing is elseworld anymore.

+LordUzaki Basically it was a way to let readers know that the pre 52 universe still exists out there. They even got to read stories with their old favourite characters interacting with other highly liked versions of them selves. It won't really change anything in the long run (what we know so far atleast), it was a storyline to please fans.

+LordUzaki It was a way to reconnect to all multiverse stories and continue the stories and end them properly. Now everything is canon, and nothing is considered elseworld anymore. The end result is that the pre-New 52 comics are back, Post Inifinte/Final Crisis characters would return somehow. Earth 2 is now the world of the golden age comics, Red Son is now considered canon, Kingdom Come as well.

At the end, they erased crisis on infinite earths, which means that now pre-1985 stories are canon again and the pre-crisis multiverse is restored.

I personally hope DC takes good use of this amazing opportunity to write more alternate universe stories if Multiversity and the Earth 2 books have proven anything people are more then willing to buy and read books on heroes that aren't set in the main continuity. maybe now the people who keep begging for post crisis DC to return will finally stop bashing the current continuity

Ray Petree Apparently they were taking cities from worlds about to collapse - hence the city from Zero Hour (Parallax threatened the world), Flashpoint (warring Atlanteans and Amazons), the various Crises, Earth 2 (threatened by Darkseid, but Brainiac got there too late), etc. with more worlds in peril that we don't really know about. New 52 universe wasn't about to collapse.

But I don't DC has covered how they did. I really didn't care for this story at all. It is nice to see some of these various characters come together, but overall the whole thing seemed pretty pointless. Other than the original Crisis, most mega events seem to fall flat for the most part. DC and Marvel both need to stop doing these types of things.

I get that you guys wanted to liven up the video with you each doing voice work on it, it's distracting plus someones audio was just painful to listen to. The quality of the video was fine, panels show what need to be. Just work on one voice and have the quility be good. Over all the video was a little long, maybe break it up into parts.

This storyline is utter garbage and the exact reason why comic books are frowned upon and why no one reads them. It was a bunch of bullshit. Throwing a bunch of versions of characters with alternate timelines and continuities at each other in some hodgepodge, cockamammy clusterfuck isn't at all exciting or cool. It's just fucking convoluted, these kinds of events suck ass. Way too much alternate dimension, time travel, reality in peril nonsense that makes no sense, has no appeal, no good action and makes every character involved look like goobers. No version of Superman, Bats, Flash or any villian looked good because compared to Telos, Damos and OG Brainiac they all look like replaceable nothings. Hell even the big bads all look like dumb dumbs for changing their minds and helping the heroes. The entire event felt pointless as hell. All these reboots and retcons and then shuffling in each era of these versions is confusing as hell. No hero's origin is coherent anymore. Explaining heroes to a casual is a nightmare because of all the derpy writing, absurd events and reboots and how each retcon flows from one to another. New 52 being a result of Flashpoint still makes me erupt with laughter. The entire premise is so asinine it makes me hurt. Flash and Thawne racing through time ended up restarting the entire universe and giving everyone new outfits. HA!
