Dear Melissa: The scene you just heard in Day of Judgement in the Quran, maybe followed by the scene described by Jesus in Mathew "Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’ " Mat 7-22-23 First they call him LORD!! when he is a Prophet. Second, they say we did these deeds IN YOUR NAME, instead of In the Name of God. Of course the context in the bible is altered, and many would say "No no, Jesus meant this and that it is not about this or that.." Just like when Jesus said "My father is greater than I " they explain this as "they are co equal but he is humbling himself" Is Jesus not able to express himself in simple phrase? They need to clarify a mighty prophet words with their words.. When we start interpreting words as we wish, our speech or any text will mean anything to any one. My father is greater than I , is a simple straightforward sentence, how could this be "I am humbly co equal with God"!! Jesus have answered the learned man who asked him of all the commandments which is the most important one? Jesus said "Hear O Israel, (do you hear Jesus?) the Lord Our God (so God is above him) the Lord is ONE". He did not say 3, or pray to Mary, that would be the right moment to say it if this was part of Jesus teaching. But Many say God is 3 persons even admit it is hard to explain the trinity and call it mystery. God who knows everything, asked Jesus in the Quran "Did you tell them to take me and my mother as deities " To let Jesus worshipers hear the truth from Jesus himself, denying their claim .. Because there are verses in Quran where God explain that in That day many False Gods and Idols will deny their worshipers in front of them.... And Jesus pbuh is one case here. The reciter cried because it is powerful conversation in Judgement Day, The Most hard Day. He may cry for those People who are on the verge of being condemned hearing this conversation in that day and hearing their "God" Jesus denying their false claim. I cried thinking of the conversation and remembering the Mathew verse that I cited earlier. I think Leonardo da Vinci when he painted The Last Supper was close to this verse. There was a table and feast for Jesus' followers at that time. Jesus never said that I am the son of God, but there may be problems in translating from the Aramaic text into other languages
