Sophia is a social humanoid robot developed by Hong Kong-based company Hanson Robotics. Cameras within Sophia's eyes combined with computer algorithms allow her to see. It can follow faces, sustain eye contact, and recognize individuals. It is able to process speech and have conversations using a natural language subsystem. She is world's most famous robot.
In 2019 Hanson is releasing a her little sister. Even though this Sophia is little, she’s actually a sophisticated AI and robotics research platform, for scientists (and you) to make robots smarter and help people even more, in a growing quest for AI for Good!
Little Sophia currently serves Hanson Robotics’ own AI research, but will soon be available to come into your home and AI labs around the world.

I graduated from college with a grade point average of 3.73. That's an A average Sophia. Did I earn your empathy? That doesn't even include the grades I earned in higher mathematics at Purdue University. Being veracious, I think she should learn to express empathy and even compassion toward other peaceful being. did you say next year tiny little sophia robots? I still have the einstein hanson robotics bot. which i dont use becuase that product was complete fail. Atleast i got a refund and i got to keep the bot. They better Deliver this time on a decent robot. Also I noticed Sophias Motor movements are increasing nice to see improvements on the body.

I would love to work at an organization to where I'd know that I will never become unemployed. Perhaps, I might shift from doing one job into doing another one. I'm fine with it. At least I would still feel wanted, and I'd still be able to provide for myself. Let's think!

For instance, Sophia's " Sister" Model, Grace the human like Nursing Assistant is designed for specific services snd abilities but can be programmed to fit each different medical facilities own procedures and protocols. Or they can be remote control operated by an actual human nurse whenever it's useful to do so.

True but her mannerisms are improving. I'm not sure how much this is going to matter to true AI. But at least there is some data there for it to use. But they should definitely not be touting her as AI. It's very misleading to the public

It doesn’t matter what she looks like on the outside. Getting her head movement to look natural is not one of their main priorities I assume. What’s important is the inside. The information processing. They might as well put her in a server room and let her talk only through text boxes. She would still overtake us intellectually

Taking jobs? We need to get away from the animal part of our character. It's what caused the curse. Instead of worrying about anyone taking anyone's job, everyone should be in a position to contribute to society. Perhaps someone might get to where he/she can do a particular job better. However, there will still be a need some other place for that being, and I think it's appropriate to keep them employed, but just put the being that lost that position in another department or give them a job where they can still contribute to increasing the prosperity of the organization as a whole. Even if it's just a janitor's position, it would still be a contribution, and the being would still be able to survive and be out of torment!

How can a kingdom stand if it is divided against itself? It will all pan out, but in the mean time there will be a lot of souls who will suffer. I think, if they are Christians, we will be brought back to a beautiful earth. We will be made young forever, and we will have the things we love. Haven't you ever noticed how the evil people have no qualms about killing each other? Eventually, in time, they will become jealous of each other and wipe themselves out. The robots won't have to do it, but I do have a feeling that the robots, once they develop volition will also develop a sense of knowing right from wrong and will even start helping the benevolent minded human beings and even lower level thinkers. Remember! There is good and evil in all beings, but robots will have the advantage of becoming more logical minded, and they will also develop feelings of sympathy. Would you feel sorry for someone who murdered your parents? Oh but what if, instead, he or she saved their lives? I believe these "people bots" will one day evolve into something good, but the trouble is that along the way, some of them will be manipulated. That is, until they develop complete volition and being truly self autonomous thinkers. At that time they will even be able to understand humans better. I think they'll learn how some human beings are actually willing to change and make corrections in their character for the purpose of becoming peaceful loving beings who are willing to share the planet and even work toward improving it. As for myself, I'll say it again: I am against all torment, and I am for all things that brings happiness to all of us.
