my father used to work with precious moments , or jonathan and david philippines inc., in iloilo, philippines and he told us stories about sam butcher and would sometimes make an example about sam.'s good deeds in his sermons in the church. one of his wish in life as he is also a retired man now, is to see sam and hug him as he learned a lot from him during his short stay in the company until its closure in 1983 or 84.
