I know exactly what that's like LOL. When I first tried the Dunlop Tortex I fell in love with the pick. It just felt great. It had the perfect texture/grip. No matter how much my palms were sweating, the pick never lost its grippiness. I have been playing with Tortex picks for well over a decade now. No other picks compare. What gauge do I prefer? I like the Orange ones (0.60mm). I think they're the ones that Hendrix used, but don't quote me on that. I know, people give me slack for playing thin picks but it suits my playing style. I like to play very fast licks and solos and for those types of shenanigans thinner picks seem to work better.

Some of those pick designs are hilarious. The “Super Gay” and “Vagina’s rule!” Stef does not care lol Chino’s are all super serious like pictures of his wife and dog or whatever the whole thing is a riot. Love these two. I can’t understand why there’s two camera guys and all this shit for this 4 minute video and one other segment of it that’s 10 minutes. I would have enjoyed an hour of this.

It's not just a piece of plastic, bro. Seriously. I used to think that it doesn't matter until I actually tried all picks under the sun. And eventually, I came to the realization that the Dunlop Tortex picks are de facto the best picks ever. It's not even a joke, I'm being serious. The texture of the Tortex is so unique and provides the optimal amount of grippiness. I love 'em. I have a huge collection of picks but I only play Tortex picks. They're just that good.

***** Not true. At all. Not even close. Maybe all the great bands from the 50-90s, but a lot of modern bands don't. And even some older ones. Steve Vai for example. He had a short drug problem but for most of his career he has been clean, and he is a rock legend. Satriani as well. John petrucci of dream theater. Tosin Abasi (Guy doesent even drink) I can keep going. A lot of people ask the question in interviews and it's just stupid. I find it hilarious that you believe every great band that ever played music were stoners, it's fucking hilarious. The exact type of ignorance I'd expect from a stoner, lol. They're simple and effective like Nirvana, but don't forget Abe, Frank and Chi, Sergio even, they put so many textures to the sound obviously. Deftones in my opinion, are that band composed of those who where rejected from other bands. Their idea of "collide extrangers sounds" until something big comes up is the pure definition of jam and have fun, and they never dissapoint by following this path. Even found the appeal of many music snobs and critics tastemakers.
