well, actually it's not that many, some of them are just expected. while counting bottles, you would say 1 bottle, or cups you would say one cup. (English has these ones, too) So they list these expected ones as counters, too, and people get intimated by the amount of counters. But besides these, there are many counters compared to some other languages, I agree. Anyways, its been 2 years now, how is your korean learning process?

@@floraablin1319 well, you don't need to memorise all of them, so didn't I :D. But for me, I got accustomed to them through songs or videos that i watch. For example, I was listening to Oh my girl- Liar liar, and they used mari(counter for animals) (sorry i dont have korean keyboard), the other day i was watching some tv show, they used tong (counter for papers) and stuff. So this way they just stuck to your memory and don't go away :) And i also watched billy's review of people speaking korean. I guess, in two of his videos, he pointed out counting unit mistakes. By watching that, i learnt those counting units, too. I hope this helps.

@@floraablin1319 English has counters, too, for counting paper blocks, or film rulos etc. But the problem is i couldn't find any list or source related to this. I was wondering if you know such thing, it'd really help.
