Lee is so insightful. His rendition of Cleon is up there in my favourite characters of all time. Having read the books and seen all of the show I can’t imagine anyone better for the role!

Great show. But to be honest, I watched for Mr. Pace. I hope they focus more on the Cleons in the next season. Really enjoyed Salvor as well.

A great interview. As an Asimov fan, I must say I really enjoyed watching the tv series. And a great deal of this was due to the outstanding acting. Many changes to Asimov's original novels were, in fact, a relief - such as the roles for women. And watching exactly what happens to the Empire.. which you never see in the novels. As an Asimov fan, I am having a harder time accepting Demerzel's role, though- and hope this will be explained in the future. And, I don't understand why the concept, knowledge of epigenetics is not reflected. But the beauty of the scenes, and the story lines are quite impressive. And the casting! I was not familiar with ANY of the actors in this interview before this series, and would like to congratulate them. I was especially impressed with Lee Pace's acting skills, range of portrayals, and believe he deserves an Emmy for his work in this show. Thank you.

Amazing interview! I love the show can't wait for season 2! Brilliant actors they are! The story is beautiful! I absolutely adore Lee Pace (The Fall❤ is my Forever Favorite). Jared is austanding in everyway! Lou is wonderful to watch and Leah, wow she is stunning (great accting skils). I hoped to see Laura (Demerzel) she is my top 1 character from Foundation. So i would like to say Thank you for the interview!

It's so much more interesting to watch in-depth interviews like this one about the craft, instead of superficial tidbits that have nothing to do with the actors' actual job. Those are great for promoting, but these are best for understanding what it takes to create the story we are watching. And even though I have absolutely no connection to acting, I still love hearing about the process. I would have loved it more if it was an in-person interview because I imagine it would have flowed a lot more naturally, but hey, what can you do? Maybe hope they're not actually at home, but in some random hotel rooms because they're off filming season 2...😁 LOVE Foundation, thank you for this! ❤️

What is really unique about the show is that it shines through its characters. Yes, it has truly remarkable CGI and practical effects, but it is not used in excess for the shake of being a spectacle but in moderation, merely as a backdrop to set the tone of the series and support the actors telling this amazing story through their great work. I really enjoyed the first season and I hope the production continues to do what they have created so far.

It’s too bad Leah wasn’t aloud to act in her English accent, it’s so much nicer sounding than the American accent (which she does well). I guess they wanted Salvor to sound more down to earth, “can-do” and several characters already had British accents. Great interview!
