Tahar Rahim, in 2 films - NetFlix' "The Serpent" and "The Mauritanian" - has blown my mind with portrayals of real-life people. What a great actor. I think I just found a new all-time favorite!! Jodie Foster is as good as it gets!

Love the way she says do the preparation and then trust that it's done, so you can be spontaneous when the camera rolls. Good advice.

I really liked it. The casting was spot on. The dialogue was great. I don't understand America's insistence on using British actors to play Americans but whatever. The story is fascinating and disturbing and kept me enthralled the whole way through. Well worth a watch.

Enjoyed this conversation. Too bad that they didn't use the words "torturers", if not ‘rapists’ more often. Let alone state-terrorists.

Both can spoke French, In Algeria, Morocco old generation can spoke French, and many young too, but in decade, Morocco and Algeria will replace English and French will be colonial language and must be remove, in sub-sahara french are be respect because sub-sahara don have writing script except arabic script and french civilized them, give them tech, modern building, latin script, french, goverment, money system, and free from slave and tribal war, and wearing western cloth, withhout aninaml skin, example zulu, today no more mud hut. but european style modern and advance. that why Mali. Niger, central africa republic, togo, cameroon, love French, and french proud of it because french langauge become major language.
