stunning, stunning film. I hate that it is being lost in the more easily digestible award season baits. A film that only truly gets better on repeat watch and also when these brilliant puzzles and clues make sense ! Such masterful work

Good movie by Rebecca Hall! She's adapted an awakening novel by author Nella Larsen. It is excellent to watch it and discuss the plot, characters, traits, and cross-cultural dilemmas with other viewers.

One of the best films of 2021, beautiful cinematography also. I remember reading the book in college and being very moved and heartbroken by it.
