I have a lot more respect for Hickey then Ruscha. Hickey is sharp and funny as hell.

Wow. I couldn't tell if Ed Ruscha was being rude to the woman or if his arm hurt when she tried to hand him the present. He didn't move his arm much. But he didn't say thank you. Then I wondered if he could hear her because indicated trouble with that ear.

If you are interested, Ruscha’s “Real Estate Opportunities” from 1970 is up for auction on eBay.

I think Dave has been spending too much time at the gym.

well that was awkward wasn't it. Hickey starts off by suggesting "art prints" are not for real artists "You print 10 and sell one".. I wonder what Ruscha thought about that opener. Then Hickey starts on "stacks" for Ruscha's artwork.. fortunately Ruscha decided to riff on "stacks". I'm no fan of Ruscha but he kept his cool while Hickey thrashed around. Hickey could have had an insightful interview with an important US artist and it went off into the blue.
