I was always accepting of the button pushing peice but it wasn’t until I got away and saw how other people teach that I discovered how engaging in the work of this lineage can in fact be dangerous without button pushing. We need to know ego, we need to see our darkness or the shadow can be harmful when we get to higher spiritual training. Humility is a tempering mechanism that keeps us in the light. If we can’t be humble, we shouldn’t have access to the secrets that initiatory paths of power are key holders of. it’s entrusted to us because there is a sacred responsibility to serve. If we can barely control ourselves, we aren’t useful. The capacity for wisdom and responsibility is exponentially alligned with worthiness. Yeah we benefit from power. But also if that’s all you’re here for you’ll reach a plateau where you can go no further.
