I’m from Iran but I live in USA. I can’t go Iran because of my faith! The Lord saved me 16 years ago when I was hopeless. God is doing amazing work in Iran. John as you said your books are blessings to Iranians and blessed me so much. I use your book for teaching Iraninan’s through internet church in Iran. John many Iranians loves you and love America. ❤️🙏🏻

I really enjoyed this podcast. So true. Thank you for pointing out that we need to not focus on division but on Christ and bring Him into these situations.

Dear John and Lisa, I love our podcast and apprieciate you all as a family. I am inspired by your faith and wisdom. however, I feel like as an african, the wars our continent goes through are not as highlighted as the ones happening in the middle East or Europe. There is war currently in Congo for example and I think you should also touch it up when you are praying for people or in your ministries. Thank you 🥰

Thank you for using this platform to encourage God's people. Just this reminder of Daniel 7:25 is a blessing today. Thanks a lot. Trust that the Lord will continue to empower you for this good work of His that you are doing for such a time as this.

The bible talks of a "Great falling away" when many will leave the faith. Im wondering if we are in the End Times if this is coming along with Great Persecution! Heaviness and discouragement, I believe will be just the tip of the iceberg.

Interesting. I've always heard of the opposite....the revival but which comes first? My husband and I always talked about if "more Christians in the world" meant actual Christians that accepted salvation genuinely or just as a label......the two can be extremely different. I'm guessing it would be the former but who knows? We won't know when he comes back...like a thief in the night.❤

I understand... 2020 was a year of both turmoil and growth. I had to stop watching the news to tap back into joy because the heaviness of everything was a lot, but not too much for God. Great discussion, our hope, joy, and strength comes from God, so we must focus on Christ. It's when we lose focus on Him that we start to focus on our situations and circumstances and we get off track. Love you guys. 🖤

This has been a very timely and much needed conversation. Yes there need to be a part two. I feel like you guys just scratched the surface. I love John's transparency about his struggle to be the light to his neighbors and friends in 2020. I think a lot of Christian did. I believe God answered my prayers by having this message pop up on my phone this morning. He's showing me how not to fall into the trap of despair, but be the light and resource to people who are having a hard time with all of the negative effects of the media and the world we live in. There are many heavy issues that have weight on our souls for far to long. God is the answer and the bible is the instruction manual 🙏🏾

Thank you John and Lisa, I love this! This morning I felt led to just praise Him in my morning routine. I am not a morning person and it can be challenging for me to start my day and have a good mindset. But I couldn’t get the nudge out of my mind. I believe this is what we are to do not just in the mornings but throughout our entire day especially in these times we are living in.

Don't pray my feelings, step outside myself, and beware "the box" spoken by that one gentleman back in the 1980s...wow there was so much to take in and apply! Also, staying connected with a group of prayer is so key! I am a living testimony of that, AMEN!!!

Your Podcast blesses me so much, such practical advice how to intentionally dig into what the Holy Spirit directs us to do, how to practically love our neighbors, how to speak life , blessing and favor over our neighbors and anyone we encounter in our lives to impact the Kingdom and Glorify God. Been best and hardest last year and half of my life, divorce, job loss , bought a home, helping get Start Up Co off the ground, new church, with that said have never been closer to Jesus, May 2022 gave Him 100% of my heart and its been a wonderful wild ride, your Podcast is such a huge part of my journey of faith and life in Jesus. God Blessings and Favor over you and your family.

A suggestion about bad phone news on social media. Ask God to take complete control and authority over your phone. Ask him to allow in what you need to know and ask him to block out what's not good for you and not look up any negativity subjects at all, and you'll see a huge difference on how your phone makes you feel. Good way to guard your heart. God said wars and rumors of wars and then he said do not have fear or anxiety. Just don't look up bad stuff and ask God to only allow healthy things you need to know. It made a big difference for me.

Love your conversations. And the Awe of God book has opened my eyes to so much. Thank you! But question. Is it our responsibility to pull casual Christians in the church up on things like narcissistic compassion and or contempt for people who dont meet their standards? In a worship team, where certain individuals are very unkind and gossip towards other musicians that might make a mistake.

I feel nowadays the fatigue comes from watching the videos coming out of Gaza. I agree we need to pray for everyone, israeli Jews and Muslim Palestinians etc alike. However I think it was also a teaching of Jesus peace be upon him to stand up against oppression. So just as we stand up against antisemitism and pray for israeli hostages, we should stand up against the taking and bombing of Palestinian homes and the killing of their children on mass and make sure we seek the truth on this matter and stand for what's right.

@learninladyhomesteader937410 ай бұрын
By asking Jesus to create a new heart in me Oh God, and a steadfast Spirit. Ask Him to help you forgive anyone you need to forgive, and remember the verse the Joy of the LORD is our strength? Peggy Joyce Ruth did a very good teaching on joy on KZbin. Meditate on those verses and seek the face of God and He will stengthen your heart. Mens hearts are also failing them right now bc many have taken something offered to the public since 2020 that is dna changing and organ failing in many, so I hope this is not you, but if so, pray and repent and hope and pray. God will have mercy on whom He will have mercy. He is Just, He resists the proud but gives grace to the humble 🙏🏼

Thank you for this message. Just one thing Dear Lisa and John. We pray for the Palestinians, NOT for Palestine. There is no country of Palestine. I encourage you to not reinforce the lie that there is or was a country called Palestine that is being occupied by Israel. Thanks👍

Around the 22 minute time, you said ¨that we were created for such a time as this¨ How about you pray for countries that have what you say unlawful entry to the USA. Instead of saying these people are dangerous, how about you pray for their government. Racism is sin, what you two are feeling in your hearts in sin. Show compassion to foreigners, b-c that is what the bible says. It is not their fault they are fleeing from oppressive countries. You two want people to stop crossing the border into the usa, then pray for those countries instead of publicly bashing the people from there. You two live privileged lives and know nothing about living in countries that do not offer what we do.
