Converse Chuck Taylor Mid VS Last Resort

I guess this isn't really a VS video but I am curious what you guys thoughts are on the two brands. I personally love chucks because they just fit my feet the best. Last resort follows suit there. The fit nice and my feet feel good after skating in them. Well they dont feel good but they dont feel like death and a lot of shoes these days just crush your feet.

Last Resort all the way... I need those croc ones.. they are so durable and easy on my heels. I don't see them on the site yet so I guess they're just not ready. Funny thing, they're not even on Last Resort's site either.

Zach got married on the low and has been under the radar lately!!! congrats to him!! Irving has had a hurt knee but I did film that Es decon video with him the other day. I also stay injured but I do plan to have more skating in the shoes or using the product.

I think they fit very similar. Kinda like if vans and converse had a baby. Fit more like converse than vans though.

if its not part of the skate line the soles are just going to be hard and not good for skating. I was trying to find some pics online to see what the sole underneath was like. first thing I can see is that the skate chucks sit flat and all other chucks have this huge upturned toe. that's so weird to me.

I moved over to State Footware and use their mid tops in canvas. They are pretty much a more durable version of Chucks but dont have the clown shoe toe cap, which I prefer. But i was a long skater of Chucks and would still rock em if they are on sale.

I feel like state went out of biz? Or just never really took off. Launching direct to zumiez I feel like they were just always on clearance which might be awesome for the consumer but not a good sign for the brand. Def correct me if I’m wrong but I haven’t heard anyone talk about state for a while.

In my opinion, the Brazilian pro chucks are better, I have an American like these in the video and the difference is significant Brazilian chucks have more padding, the canvas and laces are more resistant and the insole is much better cushion the impact more

Used to wear chucks in the pools back in the 80's. I have a wide forefoot though and smaller heel...out of these shoes which has the wider forefoot?

@@DavidBluetile might take a few days or even weeks for the features to properly kick in. One of my colleagues talked about monetization for his music videos the other day. Unless someone watches the entire advertisement, he/the band allegedly aren’t receiving the full payment. Also, features take time to properly work. The system should be smoother and more user friendly, tbh.

I mean it is canvas. They hold up for me but I’m 48 and my Kickflips ain’t what they used to be. Haha. But someone did comment on this video about them blowing through the canvas quick. I love the chuck mid for skating regardless

Dont buy these for skating, those Pablo highs blew through in 3 ollies and they say its rubber backed…the rubber is thinner then literal skin. Wish they made a hardier canvas or the suede backed chucks again.

Man I feel you but I skate in these all the time. Granted I’m 48 and my flip tricks are not what they used to be. I just prefer the canvas aesthetic better than the suede. That’s just classic chuck.
