I Ahmed bhai jaan converse shoes on average cost 70 dollars. Direct conversion is around 10-11 thousand ruppees. Plus they are imported and all the other taxes waghera, it all adds up to 15k which obviously is expensive for Pakistanis but quality ki cheez mil rahi hai. Bata walon ke north star ki tarah nahi hai :/

i imported one from a friend.. he bought Chuck taylor low top navy blue for me in 12000 rs from overseas.. they are charging a hefty premium.. this is why import is still better than these local shops.. they keep charging so much..

I am from ASSAM, INDIA.. Converse sneakers be it The One-stars or OG hightop both comes around 2200 to 3500 INR respectively and we consider them among the low cost affordable branded shoes. (Noticing, 1 IRK = 2.15 PKR) TBH, they unbelievably expensive over there.

I'm not surprised to hear that. I've travelled quite a lot through south east Asia and everytime I've hit a Converse store, this is pretty much what the cost comes to. Maybe it's got something to do with international licenses? Since this is a US based brand, it makes sense for it to be cheaper in its parent country.
