Convert a Coaster Brake To A Fixed Gear

Easily convert a coaster brake hub to a fixed gear hub. Why would you want to do this? With this conversion you can use the wheel in both directions. For me it was to create a target retrieval system.
I would not recommend this conversion for a hard ridden bicycle. For that I would recommend using a fixed gear hub. But for projects this should work just fine.

How come when i stop pedaling it makes a grinding noise i didn't even take the thing apart just took the tire off and back on and i took the coaster brake spun it around the frame and now its grinding why ????

Sounds like a failed bearing. Could also need greasing.

You have to use something to make the hub a fixed gear. Without epoxy, welding, etc the hub will continue to spin.
