May I have information on this problem with Adobe ? Your Adobe version is it a free or not ? When I see the Adobe Reader's head of the window, you have the menu View I have not. Can you help me ? All the code has been uploaded on my Pwt presentation, I saved the document with the extension "presentation taking the macros" first before saving it after under another name in the "pdf" format.

I am seeing this a year or so after the last comment. I tried both the version without and with adding numbers, and combined them into a single Macro by copying the relevant SUB's from one to the other, and adding the text 'wNum' to the end of the SUBS from the Macro with numbers. Took a couple of tries to get it to work properly. What I want to find out is how do I add these Macros to PP in general so that I can apply it to any other presentation without having to create copy of the Macro in each new presentation, or to apply it to older presentations?

@MohamedWMehrez3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment. The code used here has an issue with presenting animated paragraphs. Nonetheless, if you check part 2 of the video, I am using a new version of the code that handles this. Also, make sure that your paragraph is already animated in your ppt file (i.e. the text has the disappear animation added to it)
@MrNebukad645 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the tutorial - however, it does not do what I was looking for, perhaps you have a hint ;) I am using Office 365 for MAC and the Macro runs but does not add pages with elements disappearing - e.g. I have a slide which in the first animation adds a text box and in the second animation the first text box disappears and a new text box is been added, in the third animation the second text box disappears and a new text box appears ... and so on. However, when I run this macro the text boxes that should disappear remain and new text boxes appear and remain also for the next animation. Resulting in a slide in which several text boxes are covering each other ... don't know what I am doing wrong here ;) You got any idea? Thanks!

The method in the video should work perfectly for your case. I created the slides in the video using office 365 on windows 10. I don't really have any specific hint except following the video steps :). If you don't mind sharing your slides or part of it with me, I can convert it for you.

thanks for your good explanation. I have a question: why the animations that have effect options like "by paragraph" don't save correctly in pdf?! for example if we have 3 lines with bullets, in pdf there are 3 page but all are like each other! without separating each paragraph in one page.

Thank you for your comment. Unfortunately, the code doesn't handle this case. You may split the bullet points into several paragraphs as a work around.

I am using PowerPoint 16 and it does not seem to work. I have a slide, where I have multiple pictures on. When I click on each picture different shapes appear and another click will make the shapes disappear. However, when I am using the code, it does not add the multiple slides for each appearance/disappearance, just a copy of the existing slides but without the animation. I have also tried PART 2, but again with no luck. ;) I can see on previous comments, that your example was available for download - however, I can not seem to find it. @MohamedWMehrez3 жыл бұрын
Hi, thank you for your comment. I don't think this method can work on gifs; however, you can try a workaround; you may split the gif into its constituting pictures and regenerate its animation in a single slide using PowerPoint animation tools. Then you use the method in the video to convert the whole file into a pdf. The gif part in the pdf will be animated as the viewer scroll through the slides.

@MohamedWMehrez5 жыл бұрын
@@vegankatzman you won't see the fade effect in the PDF file, but you will see it as just a sudden appearance. PDF doesn't support in-page animation. The purpose of this video tutorial is to have a PDF with as many pages as the transitions you originally have in your animated PPT. So as you scroll down your pdf, you would see objects on slides appear and disappear as per the PPT without the animation effects like fade.
