Today I want to take a look at how to convert your audio file to a MIDI file. Now, I know there are techniques inside of logic that help you do this, but we're going to take it one step further. There's a plugin from Samplab that actually does this in an interesting way. It's not simply just taking one audio file and making it into a MIDI file it's a stems creator too. So, what it's able to do is actually take an audio file, split it into stems, and then make MIDI files for each one of those stems. Best of all, it actually has a very usable free version. So to get started, you head over to samplab.com. And you're going to download and install a sample app.

Actually, I found a plugin from Vochlear called Duppler that will convert to midi as you sing. Cost $150

But what if I don't need any of this garbage neural-AI. I simply want to get MIDI based on Frequency and Amplitude of my clean Sin(T) signal. Which DAW can do this simplest frikking job???
