You can skip the part where i convert the white part to alpha

That will keep the background as white, you can also set the foreground color to white and then use the bucket tool to color any section that you want to be in white

Yes it is, if you are not much familiar with GIMP or photo editing tools in general. But once you get the hang of it, its very convenient

Just because someone else has made a video before on this topic doesnt mean that I have copied it, the foreign youtuber eats from her mouth as well, doesnt mean i copy her when i eat from my mouth. Its completely possible for 2 people in different ends of the world to use the same technique without each other knowing. A person who has enough knowledge on using GIMP can easily figure this out, its just that lot of people might not have shared it on youtube. My goal with this video is to make it easy for someone who has not used GIMP before to also be able to achieve the final goal. As long as this video reaches someone who needs it, the purpose of this video is served.
