Sir, thanks you for your excellent tutorials. Respect! I have one question: when exporting numbers in html table to excel they are reflected as text in the excel spreadsheet and not as numbers and I can therefore not use it to do calculations. Do you have a fix for this? EDIT: The problem only occurs when I echo '.number_format($totcost,2).'. Is there a way to export styling and formats set in html table to excel?

hi this is good for localhost but on domain you cannot wirte temp html file to its directory that is not secure at all? need to solution how to do it with out storing html file on server?
