Pro Tip: you can place a coordinate system on the surface that you want facing the plate and then select that coordinate system in the options before saving. This will insure that the part has the correct orientation on the plate when you load it without ever having to adjust it in the slicer software. You can also adjust the orientation of the coordinate system X and Y axis to control the orientation on the plate too, so you are controlling both the plane used as the starting point as well as the rotation around the Z axis.

Great suggestions ... My 3D-Printer does all this for me and is so easy to manipulate to place on platform I don't worry about it ... But very good suggestion for those that would like to set up the correct orientation :-) It is very helpful have different perspectives and suggestions. Thank You :-)
