Convertible Roof 2 Position Six Bar Linkage Synthesis, Adaption

Linkages that have been constructed for a retractable hardtop are used to compare the adaptability of six-bar and four-bar linkage syntheses in the kinematics software ASOM v7. Furthermore the 'free' editing feature of each multibar system is demonstrated. In all of these cases the highest priority of the software is to always preserve the interactive kinematic synthesis of the corresponding mechanism.
