This is excellent. Im currently trying to convert an Audi A8 seat for an office chair. Was going to weld a frame up to mount to a standard office chair base but it would be way to high... so going to have to make a frame like yours (but not as nice lol). Thanks

If you haven't watched yet, I have a series of videos converting a pair of Lincoln perfect position seats into chairs, maintaining 24-way power from the factory door controller plus heat and ventilation.

​@@ironicallyengineered2486 yeah, you ultimately gave me the idea. But, I was watching pt1 again and I noticed that at 8:02 you talk about how its easier to power a seat with the controls already built into the side of the chair. Since this is the first time I would be doing this I think its a good idea if I try to find a chair that has the built in controls, unlike the Lincoln perfect position.

I'm having trouble getting my seat (BMW M seat) to work... I connected the red (+) and black (-) wire to the power... In your last video from 2 years ago I saw that you connected a pin to (+)... Which pin did you use? Do you have any wiring diagrams?

i bought a 2015 fusion seat, if I buy the wiring harness for the seat, will i be able to power the seat through the warning harness?

Take a look under the seat to see if there is a connector. If so, then you should be able to power the seat from that connector when you find which pins are for power. Note: Don't start randomly putting power to pins under the seat. You could blow the seat airbag!
