Man I wish the Tannus foam worked with your tires! I'm fairly certain you could've ran MUCH lower PSI in them without the risk of pinch flats and that would've given you an incredibly smooth ride.. plus probably made handling even better.

Nice upgrade and ride out there! Just be wary of your exposed brake rotor on your wheels.. it is very easy to prang on a rock and bend them. Always keep a tool kit and pliers etc to hand just in case you do prang and bend.. that way you can at least free the jam and wheel the unit back to car etc

Having foam inserts would greatly reduce punctures. Off road tires do the trick for the Eagle One no doubt. For me I have only a few off road routes, so I opted for the Hybrid tires....ran over a staple and nothing. Thicken tires have their place for us riders. Nice off roading video, just watch out for glass they tend to blend in with the rocks.

If you want a true off road beat that is indestructible, huge and a great design to work with, what you want is the Arwibon Q30. Its made of steel, 54" long and 90lbs with 11" tires. The build quality is better than most premium scooters and it has a 2500w motor with a ton of potential. Upgrade the controller and battery and you will have one of the best off road scooters on the planet. A tank of a machine. The suspension design on it is tried and true and very effective. The best I've felt on a scooter. I removed about 10lbs of metal off mine and even on the puny stock battery its got great power. The design and build is better than most $3000+ platforms and with $500 in upgrades it will be amazing.

Question: After you put the offroad tires on the Eagle One, would you say there is enough clearance to put a 4" wide tire instead? I'm contemplating going up in width and if it would fit I would prefer to go wider since I have a fair amount of loose fine gravel and dirt around my house. Would grealy appreciate your feedback. What tire pressure did you use and what gear did you mostly stay in? What pressure do you run in urban settings? Great video. The rear view was spectacular.
@RK9Rides3 жыл бұрын
I was running the tires at about 50 psi but I will probably go a little lower in future for better grip off-road. I typically run my tires around that 50 psi mark in urban settings. I almost always use my scooters in gear 3. I think you have to use gear 3 off-roading to be able to handle hills and rocks and have the most control over changes of speed

@@mirkogruden8362 There's no way in hell an 8" tube will fit around the wheel. Even if you could stretch it, it would likely burst under pressure.
@mirkogruden83623 жыл бұрын
@@yotarocket You don't understand. 8 inch tube would be too small if there is no foam inside the tire. If you put foam inside tire then the required diameter of the tube is LOWER than the tire diameter. If you put foam inside tire then 10 inch tube will NOT FIT (that is CLEARLY shown in the video)! But 8 inch tube will. And that was my point! Now read this twice, maybe you would finally understand.
@mirkogruden83623 жыл бұрын
@@yotarocket For your better understanding: draw 10 inch circle. That is the tire. Now put another circle 2 inch smaller that the previous circle. That is the foam (1 inch thick foam).
