Why mention the US embassy in the philippines? I don't understand. My filipina friend wants to convert to Islam and then divorce her filipino husband. I don't see how the United States embassy would be involved. Anyway, can she convert to Islam and divorce her filipino husband there in the Phils? They are both catholics. Thank you

400 years ago entire Philippine was Muslim country, it was Portuguese forced Muslims to convert to Christianity. It was same case in Sri Lanka, Portuguese tried to force Sri Lankan Muslims to force convert to Christianity. Muslims in Sri Lanka did not give in to Portuguese weapons and guns. So muslims were forced out of their homes, muslims become refugee couldn't live in their homes, this was about 350 years ago.

Please advise me...i got denied my fiancee visa because of this sharia divorce, civil wedding then convert to islam and got divorce. But my fiance got certificate to marry at US embassy manila. We got wedding here last april 25,2018 since my divorce accepted in Phil. Statistic Authority or PSA and also have annotations. We applying now for spousal visa now...i hope get approve this second time around. Please advise me...
