Nice video, very explainable! I have a problem with the rods. I convert an x5sa pro to a vzbot330 awd. Did you cut shorter the rods?? i tried to install them and they are pretty longer than it should be.

I have a lot of fractions in Z axies, maybe because I printed the parts in one piece in both side of the bed! And I wanted to use two motors but it seems I need smaller stepper because bigger motor doesn't fit.

That shouldn't be a problem, you will get friction only when bearings are bad and/or they are not aligned correctly. Printed parts play nearly no role in this. I had to align entire bed and mounts couple of times to get it right

I didn't catch it -- what is wrong with the stock bed mount on the X5SA Pro? If the bearing sleeves and mounts for the Z rods are replaced with good ones, then what's wrong with it? Just trying to re-use some more TronXY part to save money on the build.

Bed mount is made of 10x10mm aluminum rods, these are really flimsy. Bearing and sleeves should be fine

Hello and thank you for your really useful guides! I am waiting for my Amazon return Tronxy and wanted to ask you something. I watched your video on the BOM (part one) and you mentioned that for the z assembly, you do not really need anything, provided you get all parts from Tronxy. Does that mean that the leadscrews from Tronxy work on the VZbot bed?

Yes, they do, vzbot repo has special version for 525 rods and those are for stock tronxy rods/screws.
