Hola!, me gustan muchos sus videos. Tengo una duda: ¿Qué es E^R?. Tengo entendido que E (sola) es el conjunto de bordes de la red eléctrica, pero que seria E^R?. Saludos!!

It is great quick review of ACOPF. Regarding the optimization model, I am wondering if it is possible to put the equations using imaginary numbers in Julia, Gams, Phyton.

It's possible in Python, but not in GAMS.

How is the 3-D plot of [Re{I}, Im{I}, I^2] a cone? Isn't I^2=Re{I}^2+Im{I}^2?

Could you be a little bit more specific with your question? The set defined by z^2 >= x^2 + y^2 is a cone and z^2 = x^2 + y^2 is the surface of that cone.

@@ccoffrin I think I understood how you get a cone. If the z axis is |I|, then it will be a cone. However, if the z axis is |I|^2, which is what you have on slide 20, it should be an elliptic paraboloid (a quadratic surface). Is that right? By the way, I found these video series to be extremely helpful. I really appreciate the time and effort that is put in producing them. Thank you.

@@sahraei1 good point. The legend in the figure could be improved.

It would be great sir if you upload videos with programming so that we can know the basics of programming with OPF also. Thank you sir.
