Convicted murderer who escaped Chester County Prison believed to still be in the area

A man convicted of fatally stabbing his girlfriend in front of her children escaped Thursday from the Chester County Prison in Pocopson Township, Pennsylvania, and remains on the loose.
Danelo Cavalcante, 34, has been on the run for more that 36 hours, and officials believe he still in the area.
"There is no evidence at this time that anyone has helped to facilitate this escape, or is assisting him at this time," said District Attorney Deb Ryan. "We believe he is hiding here locally and he is alone."

Second Prisoner that has escaped from a Pennsylvania Prison in less than a few months. Pennsylvania needs to fix their jails & prisons sounds like. He is probably probably afraid to go anywhere because he's worried about accidentally ending up in Philly. He figures philly is even too dangerous for him. The plus side for him in philly is the DA will arrest any law abiding residents who defend themselves against this escaped criminal. However crime is so bad in philly the chance of a regular everyday violent criminal roaming the streets might get him.

The guard reports, I told him to stand over there by that open gate and he just ran away, so the guard ran to get help and another 55 inmates walked out of open gate. Those dang inmates. Maybe the whole state has their head up their (blank), LOLsers
