"Disturbed" was such a damn good album & not enough hip-hop fans are in the know about how it's such an all-timer! "Something Something" was a very good song, "I Did It Again" is just as catchy also with a cold ass beat, "Dedication" is the single greatest tribute song I personally have ever heard about my hometown Milwaukee, and he's got a song ft. Twista called "Still Ride Til We Die," but make sure you listen to Part 2 though which I'm not sure is on the album because part 1 is. That beat to "Still Ride Til We Die Part 2" is fantastic, the lyrics are incredible, and it's still one of my favorite songs ever. You can't tell me as a fan of rap that track ain't raw as hell! I'll match those 4 tracks up against the vast majority of anyone's rap album! Yet all people see when I talk to 'em is "In My Projects" which personally was my 6th favorite track on the album. I would have loved to have seen Coo Coo Cal's marketing team promote those songs far more and/or get music videos made for them at the time because I feel like that was a disservice to hip-hop as a whole, his legacy, and cost Coo Coo Call millions. It kinda of reminded me of Kurupt's "Space Boogie" album where the track promoting the album wasn't nearly as good as the best material on it which was an amazing track called "The Hardest" ft MC Ren, Xzibit, & Nate Dogg. I'll always have love for Coo Coo Cal reppin' Milwaukee and wish the very best for him. Sincerely, The 414, Hawley Rd, 84th & Howard, and even the rarely mentioned but still hard westside of Milwaukee.
