Hi Dalmeny, it was nice to enjoy the food in NZ but loved being with my family. Bakery pies in NZ can’t be beaten anywhere else. Hi Faye - I’ve never heard of fish pie but this recipe of yours looks scrumptious. I definitely will try it. However I dont know what is yoke fish (I live in the USA). Do you have to use this particular fish or can I substitute it with another type of fish. Also what cream are you using? Thanks for sharing.

I went and bought all my ingredients for my fish pie yesterday except I couldn’t find any smoked hoki fish at new world and countdown 😞 they might sell them at paknsave but we don’t have one here in our small town..Kaea o gei faleoloa se ☹️ can I use chicken instead? 🤨 😐 🤷‍♀️

Yummy!! - Faye, I have made fish pie just like yours which has been a winner with all my seafood lovers. I also add a packet of Maggie Seafood Soup to the white sauce as well which gives it that extra seafood flavour..... but yours is just as beautiful :-)

Hi Debs... I got all my ingredients and I forgot my seafood soup packet at home and so I couldn’t add it in. 😩 But I still made it without it and it had the flavour to enjoy it. But definitely needed a little maggie sf soup mix. Thank for the chat Debs.. 😃👍🏼💖💖💖
