Thank you for all your videos! Thank you keeping them real, not cutting out moments you can’t speak (love those hahaha have those moments ALL the time!), and specially when your kiddos are talking, you don’t cut them off saying you are busy, the way you include them make the entire video even better! ❤

L’shanah tovah, g’mar chatimah tovah! Lovely spread - I had never heard of that kosher broth but then again, I’m not American 😊 TJ’s is a friend to the Jewish People! I love that brisket too and I have found that they tend to carry it twice a year, around Pesach and Rosh haShanah. Especially for us folks in smaller urban areas with smaller Jewish communities, TJ’s is a real life saver. Their blintzes are pretty good too! I make my brisket from scratch with tomato sauce and brown sugar etc but this broth is convincing me 😅 I now want to try that vegan Green Goddess dressing on salmon! It’s so nice to see Jewish representation on KZbin and it feels like we’re all cooking and prepping together!

Marion, I'm going to the orthodox synagogue for the first time. It's going to be a service, I've visited synagogues before but I was never present when the service was held. Any thoughts, recommendations on how should I behave, may I touch Torah, how should I give a tribute to the Ten Commandments.. ?

Does it actually matter what you make for Rash Hashanah dinner? I ask because I’m wondering if there are “traditional” foods that should be served, kind of like turkey on thanksgiving.

I want to share something with you that I hope Will make you laugh. A couple of weeks ago I was watching several episodes of my Jewish mommy life and I fell asleep in the middle of one episode. I had a nightmare. I dreamt that you were speaking in front of a group of people and I don’t remember what exactly you were speaking about. I do remember that on the table behind you was a big bouquet of flowers and several platters of tiny pink cupcakes covered in beautiful icing. I was in the audience.I decided to go up and help myself to a cupcake. Someone came up behind me and let me know that my skirt was caught up in my panty hose needless to say I left the group in a big hurry. I hope I never have that dream again. It was very vivid and utterly totally embarrassing. and funny. I am writing this on my phone with many interruptions so there are lots of mistakes.

important question on the brisket as mine cooks for 3 hours for a 4 pound brisket i got ralphs this year with my mother in laws mouth watering recipe for it to be soft. I see yours is a bit different and wanted to try it sometime this year so if I was to try it can i slow cook it in an instant pot for the same hours. I do have a slow cooker option button it since hubby and I got rid of our slow cooker a long time ago after they ran down not working well.

Why are you calling Rosh Hashanah a Hoilday when there are 7 High Holy Days which are Adonia Holy Days. The Gregorian Calendar has all Pagans Holidays on it . Not any of them are GODS DAYS so Please Stop Mixing them with the Pagan Holidays. I think your too much commercial. stay with Yewah's Laws Not PAGAN LAWS......Thank You
@alizahalon2 жыл бұрын
Hi. I don't know exactly what you mean or are referring to. I'm a Lubavitch woman. I can tell you for certain that Rosh Hashanah is one of the High Holy Days on the Jewish calendar but it is also a Jewish holiday. It has nothing to do with any holidays on any other calendar. I hope this clarifies things.
