So, so cute and clever. Love this idea. Just a little time saving suggestion: If you mark the sticks at the 5" mark before inserting them into the ball, you'll know exactly how deep to place them without having to measure and trim any afterwards.

Why thanks I hadn't thought of that, the issue in some cases was the foam was so hard I couldn't push any more so I needed to cut.

I love your tip for the petals. And the back to your flowers, ingenious! I love doing flower arrangements but I don't really like baking and icing with the sticks, takes too much room and they can get a little cumbersome. Love your videos, keep up the great work.

These are so cute!! I use to do a lot of baking in my younger days when my girls were young but now I just stick to my art and crafts!! I do wish I still had my baking supplies to make theses so I could make them for my hubby for Father's Day!! What a sweet gift.. He is so hard to buy things for but he loves his sweets and this would be somethings great I could do for him if I had the supplies to make the cookies I can make the arrangement no problem just not the cookies :(

+Salin Prasad Hi Salin, the tools I use a usually listed in my description boxes I also have a page on my blog with my favourite stuff montrealconfections.org/classes/ As for food color & kids well that is a personal choice these colors are sold in stores that are FDA approved but many believe them to be bad so it's up to you. In UK they sell many natural color options there is a company called TruColor they do natural food gels great option if you are worried.

I wouldn't go longer than a week get a big clear bag to keep the arrangement in, this will keep cookies fresh & clean.

Great arrangement. Your cookies are beautifully shiny, even before you airbrush them. Why do my cookies always dry very matte? I don't like the way mine look. So most of the time I spray them with pearl shine. What am I doing wrong. Thank you.

Hi Daniela, It could be a couple of things first off not all sugar is the same, I have a friend that has traveled the world to give classes and she's told me that the sugar in Montreal is some of the best she's ever worked with. Next, the drying time is a huge factor to a shiny surface, the longer it takes for icing to dry the more matte it will be. Some people use a dehydrator others use a fan to accelerate the drying process. Thanks for watching & good luck. M

How do you get your dry frosted cookies to be so shiny? Mine always seems dull, sort of a Matt look. I made frosting using your recipe last night, but I am going to have to make more cookies before I can try your frosting. Poor coordinating on my part. LOL!

Hi Sharon, I suggest you add almond flavour to your cookies and not the icing, oil can impact the icing drying (not drying).

Are these type of iced cookies supposed to have a soft texture or do they get soft because of the process?
