The dragons kinda read like cookie deities to me, so it kinda makes sense they'd be chaotic neutral since deities in some mythologies tend to be like that.

They aren't all Chaotic or Neutral. Pitaya and Lotus feel True Neutral since they have their principals but they aren't hard and fast about rules. Ananas seems Lawful Neutral since they're more of a stickler about rules and traditions. None of these three enjoy harming others for no reason (and in Kingdom, we even see Pitaya being dismayed at the wantan destruction left by the puppet dragon). Out of the three though, Pitaya is actually the friendliest to cookies and genuinely admires their tenacity despite their weakness. But none of them will just randomly turn on you. Lychee and Longan meanwhile are Evil aligned in the sense they actively want to harm cookies. Lychee is classic Chaotic Evil while Longan is Lawful Evil. The former just wants to create as much turmoil and suffering as possible while the latter wants the old order of things restored under the belief that only the strong have the right to exist.

⁠​⁠@@PridefulShadow Mostly, Pitaya dragon is friendly with cookies despite start fights with cookies that dragons call them a shame of dragonkind. They also know that even though cookies may crumble, they are strong in their own way. Ananas and Lotus dragon hide their caring side towards cookies and act arrogant or vanity but they care inside but they don’t show it clearly. Lychee is most lazy and doesn’t put any effort in seeing cookies are strong but in a way dragons don’t realize and Logan dragon thinks all cookies are weak no matter if timekeeper cookie is powerful but to their eyes, that cookie is weak. So they don’t open their eyes to the truth that cookies may appear due to their powers but are strong in ways Logan does not realize. Also I think their vision of a cookie wielding a staff will defeat them might be an actual fear from underestimating cookies and we know their hatred of cookies, which I think also is fear because hatred can be rooted in fear, insecurity, vise versa.

I believe it’s currently in ruins. This is basically the aftermath of the Dragon Battle with Longan Dragon Cookie. Lotus Dragon is collecting cookies for their plans, Angans Dragon Cookie has sided with Longan, Pitaya Dragon Cookie went MIA. Earthbread Continents are now one and now the current Cookies are in the Lotus Palace as it is a safe Haven from Longan eyes. Snake Fruit Cookie sided with Lotus Dragon and the two discussed their opinion on the situation and what they needed to do. Pond Dino Cookie is the first cookie born in Longan new world and she is considered a failure since she is the living embodiment of Longan’s failure to create a cookie less world. Edit: honestly, the story does take place in the aftermath of the Dragon’s fight, but it’s maneuvering back-and-forth between the conversation of Lotus D. Cookie and Snake Fruit Cookie before the arrival of the main cookie cookies to the after their arrival.
