For this I "over baked" them to make sure they're hard to start. As they sit by the cake, they'll take on moisture, but I wanted to avoid any sagging.

Me, because I'm thinking of doing a cake recipe similar to this, but as a DC Comics style, and the gingerbread castle cake is a Justice League premiere castle with a red carpet made out of red starbursts, it has American flag colors, and it has Joker and Harley Quinn's licorice lagoon, Polka-Dot Man's gumdrop mountains, Crazy Quilt's lollipop woods, the Riddler's chocolate swamp, Poison Ivy's peppermint forest, the Scarecrow's peanut acres, the Penguin's ice cream sea, and the bottom cake has American flag layers.
