As you come home with all the price tags on is there limit on what you can buy? Its obviousyou are a reseller to customs. Do you not fall into a working visa category rather than tourist?? Would be great if you could reply as i would like to do some thrift stores myself.

Do you off set the holiday against you taxes you’re working and can be claimed as a business trip. The reason I ask I know a lass who sells travel prints and when she’s on holiday takes photos to use on her prints which allows her to off set the trip against her tax

I didn’t want to squeeze the businesses cash flow. Save a bit on tax yes but it all comes out your own pocket as a sole trader and I rather keep my business account healthy.

As a sole trader you don’t have to have separate bank accounts but I do. Most good accountants would of told you to claim the holiday as your were working

@Dirlewanger44 I investigated it but in end I didn’t think it was worth it. A lot of hassle, you have to separate out the business bits as the primary reason was a holiday, and again I’ll reiterate I didn’t want my business to incur such expenses right now.
