This was such an awesome experience for our son! He has been a huge fan for a long time. DMFD (Robert) is such a nice guy who made my sons year! My Father grew up in Stuart in a big Family, and loved to fish, he left to join the Air force in ~ 1947, I remember some of his stories, and I'm 68 now (we grew up in Vermont). I would agree FLA was a much nicer place when you knew everyone who lived around you! Unfortunately, after years of Smoking, Lung Cancer got him in 1999, he was just 72, RIP Dad.

That’s it Rob! You’re pushing me to pull the trigger on getting a pontoon boat for the family. I am newly debt free but I am seriously considering going all in on a nice used pontoon. This is exactly what I want to be doing with the wife and kids! Just awesome days on the water and nature. This video right here is what embodies that great outdoors spirit! Robert, that's what Florida people are all about. At least the ones that live in the middle of the state. I grew up in Polk County and fished many of those lakes. I was also in a few bass tournaments. It's a shame it's all changing. But I'm talking about the 70s. Fishing the chain of lakes in Winter Haven. It all started after Disney opened up and then Universal Studios. It's a time that's going to be lost and what a shame.
