COOKING GILBAKA AND HASSA CURRY ON THE FIRESIDE

Nothing beats a fireside cooked meal in de BACK YARD. Gilbaka was one of my mother's Saturday special with fufu and rice. Well I can see you had the full works to flavour up this meal. Food looks delicious.Great atmosphere to cook and enjoy nature.Haven't seen a masala brick in use for maybe more than 40 years. Good to see this unique piece of Guyanese culture in use.Take care of you and family.God bless.

Very nice .That curry is awesome looking. Lemonade is beautiful. I saw the leaves on the tree next to the fireside is scorched with the heat. Maybe pull the fireside away. I am a huge lover of trees/ plants. The heat will stress the tree eventually..have a blessed night guys ❤❤👌✌️🙏👍🏽💯💯🇬🇾✔️

The curries looked so delicious. Sherry I am surprised you wanted three peppers in your curry. Rocky that hassa curry must be spicy cause you put a whole big pepper. Sherry you need to get Rocky a chimera. Ask grandma what is a chimta if you don't know. This way Rocky doesn't have to use the cutlass. Now I feel like cooking hassa and gilbaka. Take care.

I always heard about gilbaka and I thought it was a small fish. Well I saw one in the market and was shocked at the size. The vendor told me they get bigger than the ones I saw. Menu looks great👌👌
