Cooking Lunch Food at Phnom Reap Resort in Cambodia Part 02

It's a continue video part 2 from the cooking lunch food at Phnom Reap Resort in Cambodia. It's our first time trip to Phnom Reap Temple Resort at Kampong Speu Province at the west-north of Phnom Penh city in Cambodia. The lady cooked 3 foods for us, they are fried chicken, stir fried chicken with lemon grass, chicken soup. She already cooked deep fried chicken, and chicken soup. Now she start cooking stir fried chicken & lemon grass and prepare them for our lunch time. Everyone seems not very hungry as we just had breakfast and it's just 11am. We started our lunch at 11:30am. They food is good. My kids, my wife, and the Tuk Tuk guy really enjoy the foods.

From watching the vids part 1 &2 in this blogs,i have one friendly advise:For food safety purposes,you never use the same knife & cutting board to cut up the raw chicken & then anything else in the cooking,if you do just make sure to wash the cutting board & the knife well with soapy warm water.The dangerous bacteria called SALMONELLA could be harmful to your health, but i'm sure in Srok Khmer nobody care or aware of practicing food safety rules.

+kanary kim Yes,and I noticed the bare fingers and yarn gloves things she's wearing while picking up raw and cooked food ingredients. She picks up raw poultry and sprinkles raw onions over the dish at the end without cleaning. Not good.

+Andrew Gore -Everything you've seen in the whole cooking process had gone against all the rules of proper food handling & sanitation.In a poor third world countries like Cambodia,food safety rules & regulations are almost a non existence,and if they do,it's often ignored, rarely enforced due to the lack of knowledge,poorly educated population & the corrupt authorities.

+kanary kim "They never heard of such things in Cambodia",yet in neighbouring Thailand, food poisoning is almost unknown, even at the many hawker stalls. They know the basics of simple sanitation.

Why would she wear gloves and squeeze limes? The juices are soaked into the glove, not sanitary when she's touching other ingredients.
