tip to easily peel garlic, using the flat side of your knife, (preferably the middle area of the knife), smash the garlic with its skin this will tear the skin and can easily be removed... the smashed garlic on the other hand, mabilis ng i-minced since it's smashed already...

If I cook tocino and longganiza, I boil them first in water (same din sa hotdog). Mga 5 mins lang wag patagalin. Na notice ko kasi mas dry sya pag diretso prito. Bantayan lang para hindi ma sunog. Lalabas yung natural oil ng tocino/longganiza. Then pwede mo na sya iprito ng slight sa kanyang oil. Mas prefer ko ito.

Hi and good day Kristy, a cooking tip: it's easier to peel off garlic skins is by just crush the garlic flat on the cutting board ligthly with the knife and you'll see the result. Good breakfast meal and like I told you tocino and longganisa taste better with vinegar with fresh crushed garlic as dipping condiment, it adds flavor.

to peel garlic easier, put garlic clove on flat surface, put flat side of knife on top of garlic, push down flat side of knife on garlic till “squished”. it’s now easier to peel…

To get the bawang smell off your hands, wash your hands with soap and a spoon in between your hands like you are washing the spoon with your hands. The metal will take away the smell.

We have different kinds of Longganisa, there is a sweet-kind and there is a garlic type. Each location has their version of Longganisa. I love Lucban Longganisa and Calumpit,Bulacan Longganisa.

Just an unsolicited advice (hehe): You can use citrus fruits like lemon or calamansi to remove the garlic smell from your hands. :) You can just simply squeeze out the juice (so it won't go to waste) and then wipe your hands on the peel. ;)

rubbing your hands/fingers with a stainless steel object (like a spoon, knife, or even the edge of your sink) under cold/running water, as if the spoon were soap can help eliminate the smell. I learned it from a chef.

When cooking longonisa don't use oil instead just boil in water.and let the water evaporates then longonisa produces it's on oil then use the left over oil to cook your garlic rice
