interesting about the induction plate. Thank God I kept some of my old pots. I made rice today and it took forever to boil the water. Very new to this.

@@redknight3439 that's called progess. We went from candle light to gas light to electrical lighting. Gas was great 100 years ago when Coal and firewood were the primary fuels. But now that we know all the dangers of gas and it's harmful impact on the environment and Climate. It's best to phase out gas or regulate its uses. And people and government are doing it. Many commerical kitchens are switching over to induction because there is no open flame. Gas pipelines leak and release a Green house gas (Methane. And let's not forget all the gas lines explosion because of accidental digging. Not having it alone is a net positive. Coal is bad but only when he's burnt, it's harmless as a rock.

Mark Chen "slow and low for scrambled eggs...much better texture." DIFFERENT texture, not better texture. American-style scrambled eggs are better off made at moderately high temperature, while French-style are better made at low temperature. Two different experiences, and both are wonderful.

Induction is the wave of the future. But so is a plant-based diet. I love induction for not putting gas fumes in the air. Better for anyone with breathing issues. Induction means no more over-cooked veggies. Anything which is a cleaner way to cook, is better for someone like my husband who had cancer. It wasn't vegetables which gave him cancer.

If I need to cook candy to a hard crack (300 degrees), how would I utilize the induction? It usually takes about an hour to reach 300 degrees so that the water boils out. If the induction unit is cooking faster, how will I know if it has achieved the hard crack needed for hard candy? Thank for your assistance!

@@seikibrian8641 Lioness will die if she does not kill the antelop. It is on God that she has to kill the antelop. I clarified that I have no problem feeding my cat fish, because the cat will die if I don't do that. Meat is fine if humans need it to be healthy, it is not fine if they don't. I am not affiliated to PETA. I understand your anger and frustration, I just ask you to look into harms vs. benefits of meat diet from both perspectives some day. The lioness had murdered the antelop if she kills it unnecessarily. Humans killing animals to eat then is not exactly murder the way shooting for fun is. However, what is under question is whether humans have a decent choice in that situation or not.
