Big fan for years! Love that you're diving into your modular explanations! do you think you'd do a video on what looks like "permanent patches" uptop and your signal flow one day?
@edITbeats Жыл бұрын
Possibly! Would you guys like to see an overall breakdown of the rig and the philosophy behind it?

Been a fan since Crying over Pros and stumbled upon your channel for the Stolperbeats cook - really inspiring to hear this creativity, both as a listener and someone making Hip Hop with modules

Super fun patch and a I love that combination of constellation to a simple sequencer and the bard. Still would love an octone but for now I have a water to dig into. Keep the sweet jams and breakdowns coming!

Imagine what it's like if you can actually play something dude! your foot starts tapping.....the compulsion and inevitable rhythmic explosion that ensues from my djembe drum(s) when i get taken by this guys music. He's one of my favourite go to musicians if I want to get hyped up to play my drums.

is there a numeric definition of Lettered Key terminology? is 60 cycles per second a constant? cubic rotation? pi rotate? fibb rotate?

Nice setup and jam! Ever considered getting an analog synth like the “Moog subsequent 37” to blend in some raspy synth chords?

I don't really have any real estate for synths with keyboards so probably not.

So cool to discover Edit is a Eurorack music producer! Maybe that's why the sounds and sequences are so unique, fantastique work, bravo!

Curious: If you're just using the transposer to shift the key to F why wouldn't you just set the quantizer to be in F instead of C-minor?
@edITbeats Жыл бұрын
Because most sequencers normally start their notes on C regardless of scale. If you transpose the sequence up 5 semitones you can always use "C" as the root regardless of scale.

awesome stuff. Might be cool to try some more sterio on the bottom end to get even more umfh, and give more space for the kick to live in the center.

Constellation for the win! Always produces rhythmic happy accidents that are more satisfying than even reaching that itch on your back you finally just reached. And I posted this comment 2 seconds before you said “happy accident” which really freaked me out lol

Awesome Jam! would you do one breaking down the FX chain on the eurorack? I've seen in your jams that the effect processing you got going on there is really powerful!

So so soooo from the drum kit and sequencer you can automate the complexity of the events into different time signatures and rhythms then transpose those into different octave and key harmonies. Im interested into theorizing different musical patterns from these 2 sequencer processes standalone and alongside the other mods you have 😊😊
@DavidFRhodes Жыл бұрын
very, very cool. fyi though - i think your final output (at least what's in yt) is clipping out.

All I want to know is how tf do people afford this shit. Like one of those modules is $500-$1k+. Do you need to sell meth or something? I’ll never understand. - someone who’s worked his whole life

Edits been making music along time, don't thinks it's a matter of cost but what cool shit he can do live.
