i loved this... as an adult who doesnt have my family with me anymore seeing someone i like so much spend time with their family whom they appreciate so very much brings me such great joy. i literally gasped when you opened you moms closet. it was like my childhood flashed before my eyes. that little people house at the top of the closet.. i had the same one when i was small and i treasured it very much.

My parents still live in my childhood home. There's a part of their basement that looks like that closet. I felt nostalgic just glancing at that stuff, a whole tour would be great! Love the closet!! I grew up in the 70's and 80's and I kept a lot of my toys and games that my own children played with. My kids have also packed away some of their favorite toys from growing up to have for their children some day. They don't make toys like they use to. Kids don't use their imaginations either like we did when we were growing up thanks to technology. I love when you cook with your mom. Thanks for sharing.

Pausing this to say those toys are EVERYTHING! When our babies were old enough to play with toys, my mother in law unearthed tons and tons of 80s and 90s toys she had saved and I freaked out because lead and chemicals and whatever else is going to hurt your kids nowadays. But 3 kids in, I’ve calmed down about everything and am so happy she has fun vintage toys for them because they are just the best!

That is almost the same recipe as my grandmother’s! She didn’t use jalapeños or pimentos but a green bell pepper and red pepper and then the last 10 minutes you top it with a little more cheese. ❤️❤️
