i loved this... as an adult who doesnt have my family with me anymore seeing someone i like so much spend time with their family whom they appreciate so very much brings me such great joy. i literally gasped when you opened you moms closet. it was like my childhood flashed before my eyes. that little people house at the top of the closet.. i had the same one when i was small and i treasured it very much.

My parents still live in my childhood home. There's a part of their basement that looks like that closet. I felt nostalgic just glancing at that stuff, a whole tour would be great! Great video. Your mom is so cool and I loved seeing all the pics! -----> LEIGHANN & Grant, You should get a shooter glass, fill it 3/4 of water & freeze it solid. Take the shooter glass w/frozen ice in it & place a penny on top of the ice and place it in a baggie, and back into your freezer. When upon returning home, after you been when your gone, check the shooter glass every time. If the penny is at the bottom of your shooter glass, that means your power was out and your freezer and fridge food got unfrozen/warm while gone. Throw food out!

That is almost the same recipe as my grandmother’s! She didn’t use jalapeños or pimentos but a green bell pepper and red pepper and then the last 10 minutes you top it with a little more cheese. ❤️❤️

Birds were doing the same thing to my moms tomatoes. She put wire every foot about 6ft above the garden. Bird hit them and then fly away. Every once in a while 1 makes it in but it's still way better then what was happening. These Texas birds are ruthless Also, if your mom had a cook book, I'd be first in line to buy it!

Love the closet!! I grew up in the 70's and 80's and I kept a lot of my toys and games that my own children played with. My kids have also packed away some of their favorite toys from growing up to have for their children some day. They don't make toys like they use to. Kids don't use their imaginations either like we did when we were growing up thanks to technology. I love when you cook with your mom. Thanks for sharing.
