let's go champ, that some legit cooking right there. only thing i'd do differently is cooking the beef first. give it enough time to render out the water and let it brown nicely to create a maillard reaction and increase flavour. then remove and start with the veggies. don't worry about it being too dry, the veggies should take care of that, optionally you could add a bit vegetable or beef stock after browning. definitely inspired me to make this myself!

@@AquaPrince27 it's the exact opposite actually. water is tasteless and therefore you won't lose any flavour, you only intensify it by removing the tasteless aspect. removing the fat by using a strainer for example would lose you some good amount of flavour, but fat won't be removed/evaporated in the cooking process. water also prohibits the maillard reaction (browning of the meat). not sure about the chemical aspect, i think it changes the alignment of amino acids or something. it's the reason you sear a steak and don't just boil it in water.

@@AquaPrince27 oh now i see where you're coming from. generally ground meat is an exception when it comes to meat, because it will be well done no matter how much you cook it. if you prefer the texture of ground beef with a rather high water content that's fair enough.
