A red bird! Why didn't I think of that? So bright and cheerful! When you marked the eye, I was wondering: bead or French Knot. LOL. The hat really got him into the spirit, didn't it? Good job. (as always) Have you made a book of birds, yet?

We have cardinals visiting our yard all the time. I love seeing them hiding in the bushes.

@@cookingjennfer We do not have cardinals where we live. We have quail. They are not as colorful as cardinals, but they are very fun to watch, and so aristocratic looking.

@@maryseaman312don’t you just love birds? We actually have a pet pigeon. She goes out in the day and comes home at night to eat and have a safe place to sleep. She had a boyfriend but he flew away one day and never came back. She went with him but came home after 4 days. Hopefully the hawks didn’t get him and he’s just out there enjoying life with the other pigeons.
