Which uses less to sweeten for you - honey or monk fruit?
@vincentebaez25745 ай бұрын
@@carrington2949 It takes less monk fruit to sweeten the batch, but I have a sweet tooth which is why I use both. I use "Monk Drops" to complement the honey. It's a nice balance for me at least. If you're use to the taste of just monk fruit, then just stick to that. I prefer the taste of the drops over the powdered form. And using monk powder can get messy if you've never used it before. It is a very fine powder. The chew of these gummies is different from traditional gummy bears. Since this recipe doesn't use glucose syrup. Which adds that extra sweetness and firmness I like about Haribo gummies. However, these gummies are much better to have on regular basis. And you can get creative with the types of gummies you can make with this recipe too.

And now I'm 36 years old, I look like a 24-year-old and have no health problems, I'm not overweight (I weigh 53 kilos and I'm 160 cm tall) and I feel wonderful. I think it's wrong that some ppl think that children shouldn't eat sugar at all. Healthy food is important and a good thing, but they should also be allowed to eat sweets!

sugar/carbs are not an essential nutrient… regardless, carbs are not the issue, highly processed refined sugars, nutritionally deficient processed grains, and industrial seed oils are the issue with most treats you buy in a box and they come this way so the manufacturer can make the most profit. Sweets made at home with real sugars like maple syrup and honey are fine.

You can’t add hot liquid to gelatin, it has to be cold or room temp liquid then you add the hot liquid when it blooms.

Idk if the comments on this are bots or not, maybe people are just ok with the the taste of death in place of delicious sugar and chemicals in regular gummies lol...seriously if the holocaust had an official flavor these would be it. I used the exact same gelatin, etc. I followed the recipe to a T and these things taste like pure gelatin powder. It's so damn strong you can barely even taste the berries. Honey doesn't make any difference. I even dumped a ton of sugar in to try and fix the mix and while that made them slightly more tolerable, they were just fowl. There are plenty of healthy gummies on the market and these just aren't it...they're too nasty to eat. Adding in mushrooms normally downgrades the taste of any food, but in these I couldn't taste the shrooms I added, just a ton of nasty gelatin flavor. The only reason I even ate all these terrible gummies was to not waste my shrooms I regretfully used in this recipe.
