mangrove rove back to basics jack sandwich Friends of mine in Australia lived on their yacht amongst the mangroves - 40 feet high mangroves - and survived cyclones tucked in amongst the mighty mangroves. Trees that process salt water and are little reefs , for fish to breed under , are amazing.

Happy New Year Will, nice looking fish sandwich, we do that down here on the bayou in St. Bernard parish, but I use corn flour and corn meal for coating and I use Tabasco sauce to dip them in got to use home products, and we use speckled trout or redfish I prefer redfish fry them down and put them on our famous French bread with tomato and lettuce along with blue plate mayonnaise close to the same tks for the video God bless you.

I know you don’t need to toast the bread. Maybe just a soft pan sear ….😊. Was the corn starch a game changer? Would you use the same hot sauce if you made it again?
@CookingWithClams4 сағат бұрын
I would! Valentina is low on spice and huge on flavor and very thick. So it was my over the top spicy, just a warm heat

It is time again for this fisherman’s pilgrimage to our holy land. Where the warm waters of the gulf meet the turquoise of the Atlantic. A place where bone fish streak across the flats. Where tarpon lumber along side the tourist boardwalks as if having a conversation about the weather. A place where the grouper lurks in the shadows in anticipation of a oblivious meal to swim by. It’s here where the sailfish ignites the scream of a reel. Pandemonium ensues on the deck of the fishing charter. Forever scrawling the adventure in indelible dye onto the papyrus of the fisherman’s memory. A place where stories are born and myths abound. A land of contrast, with flat calm waters and huge seas. Ankle deep tide pools and deep blue depths. A paradise with manatees paddling the tranquil backwaters. And sportfishers in search of blue marlin patrolling off the reefs edge. Sea turtles grab a breath at the surface before submerging back to the world of fish as if to be looking into an endless aquarium. This is a magical place…
