You can probably use the steamer rack at the same time as you’re cooking your rice. That will save you some time in the future

Great video, Doug. That there is my kinda meal. I rarely eat any meat other than chicken, unless I have a craving for pork. This is a very attractive appliance too. I hate ugly appliances, lol. I have an Aroma Professional Rice Cooker (there's a sticker on it that features Micom Sensor Logic....whatever that is). I really love it and used it exclusively for my rice. Also cooked a few other things in it. But with the addition of 3 Instant Pots (which cooks THE BEST rice in the world), a Ninja Foodi and the latest, IP Crisp Lid, my Aroma Rice Cooker got relegated to the back of the pantry. I decided to see if a family member would like it before I packed it up for Goodwill or Salvation Army and my sister said she'd love to have it so I'm excited that it will remain in the family. Would be interested in how this Aroma does on the Yogurt!

I have this exact cooker and I bought it from HSN probably 10 years ago? I love it and use it often. However I have never been able to get the slow cooker mode to work on medium or low! Very frustrating! Any suggestions?

OMG Doug,I just got this rice cooker 3 days ago and I love it! Mine doesn't have the see through lid, and I don't have the yogurt function or the High, Medium and Low settings. I just made chicken fried rice in it and it was very good. Do you have any other recipes for this rice cooker? Thank you. I bought mine at TJ Maxx for $35.00. Very happy with it.

I looked at the Instant Pot and decided it wasn't necessary to have my food cooked in ten minutes with additional wait time for pressure release and all that jazz, nor spend forty or fifty extra dollars. Pressure cookers have simply never impressed me enough to warrant buying one.

I know this is a little late, but I have fixed several meals in mine, pasta, Mac and cheese, soup, and the lid cleans easily, it has a rubber seal that removes that you can wash in the sink. I love mine.

Doug, Next time.. try reg rice .. not the Par boiled kind... It has the best flavor vs the Par boiled version in a rice cooker.This pot makes the best SOUP... too
