if you dont like the amount of oil, adjust it according to your taste. why so much of negative comments. just get the jist of what hes done and do your own version. IT was really tasty and i did it just like he did but adjusted the oil cause I made it with half a kg of chicken. He made the curry out of 1.5 at least and used 10 tomatoes. I used 3.

I think it’s more observation and being curious, that criticism. Btw the oil in this comes across better that oily cheap chinese food (for example). Besides, most of it has burned off. When it cools, spoon it off if needed and hopefully not much flavor is lost thanks to the spices BUT seems to miss texture when fat isn’t there ..

Salam from Kolkata, India. Most of them who are commenting here dont know what is karahi. Oil has to be there but yes some technique is also envolve when to give. They have shared this amazing recipe that is most valuable. Here in our Kolkata esp in few Muslim belt like Park Circus, Ripon Street you get Chicken Karahi with use of Tamoto and it is more frequently use in Qurbani time when lots of mutton or beaf is stocked, but they never share their recipe. I love to have botis with only Ginger garlic paste and salt garam kiya hua Gosht and little pepper powder on top of it. haye haye
