What a wonderful class that was. Even as you explained the process of idli making with such care, while your graceful hand movements matched the perfect instructions , I knew that these idlis would bring to the table, much more than their unique taste, an intangible quality linked to the past. They took me back to an age when entire families sat down together, in a big hall adjacent to the kitchen, on pallakas and enjoyed not only the freshly steamed idlis , but also the sublime happiness of togetherness, that only family bonding can create. Thank you Suma teacher for recreating that unforgettable age. You gave us a peep into the special manner idlis used to be cooked in days gone by , on wilted banana leaves placed in generously proportioned idli steam cookers. Each class of yours is a delight to attend and awaited with great anticipation. Thank you once again.

Hai teacher 👋 😊 ,your Idli class is so precious to me I used to make Idli throughout my life But I never had such an informative class about the proportion and texture of Idli maavu and so on..... In the midst of Idli class part 2 U mentioned about PT Abraham sir and Leelamma kochamma. Years back I studied in CMS Collage, Kottayam. PT Abraham sir taught me Economics in pre-degree batch, I used to visit PT Abraham sir's house because my indimate friend was leelamma kochamma's sister's daughter. So I know her ..... I am so impresed by u because the way u present each recipies in an outstanding way ... We are also in this field our channel's name is Koshy's Family Kitchen .... May I ask u one personal question do u belong to kottayam which is my native place even though now I am living in kakkanad, Ernakulam ........ Thank you

Idly making is a highly sensitive process . Quality can be enhanced and at the same time can be spoilt Quality of the rice and urad dal ( black gram ) comes first How to judge the quality of rice is a big issue .
